The Sunday Edition band was formed in the spring of 2007, but has roots that go very deep. The musicians that make up this foursome have been contributing to the midwest music scene for several decades in bands like Roadmaster, Push Down & Turn, Zannadoo, Ribs & Bone, Cousin Roger, The Alligator Brothers, and Sfumato just to name a few. Together now for the first time in one band, Anne, Jason, Michael, and Phillip have combined their musical experience and passion for performance into a captivating and invigorating live music experience like no other. Playing hits from such diverse artists as The Police to Steely Dan to Bonnie Raitt and Prince, this is a group that you should go see now while you can still afford a ticket!

Anne Balbo has been singing and performing since her high-school days in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She also owns and operates 'Sweat', an aerobics studio in Noblesville. The Sunday Edition takes full advantage of Anne's tip-top physical condition and she never stops moving during the performance. Her voice is a perfect blend of Joplinesque soul and Stefani-style energy and delivery.

Jason Brown began singing and fronting a full-time recording and touring rock band in 1993. An Indianapolis native, Jason has been a part of the local music scene since the early 90's and has performed countless shows in some of Indy's greatest venues. Jason shares lead-vocal responsibilities with Anne and backs up the group with a heavily energetic and rhythmic guitar style.

Michael Read's musical acumen and live band mojo are immediately apparent upon hearing him sing or play even the first few notes.  He rounds out The Sunday Edition's front line on keys and vocals. A world-class musician in his own right, Michael is also the musical catalyst which inspires the rest of the group to give their all every time the band plays.

Phillip Powers is quite possibly the most prolific and creative drummer of his generation in Indianapolis' music scene. The Sunday Edition could never attempt, let alone deliver such a diverse selection of music without Phillip's power, command, and intelligence behind the drum kit. Upon seeing your first or your next Sunday Edition show, do yourself a favor and watch the guy behind the cymbals. There's as much show going on in the back row as in the front.
